A. John Freund, P.E. - Founder and President - As a BSME graduate of The University of Texas in 1954, John spent his first two years with RCA in Pennsylvania. Moving back to San Antonio, John worked with Southwest Research Institute for 3 yrs. before moving to Friedrich Refrigeration.  Enthralled by the growing refrigeration industry, John decided to venture out privately with Comfort-Air Engineering in 1964.   JohnF@comfort-air.com

Robert G. Freund, P.E. - Founder and Executive Vice President - After spending 2 yrs. in the U.S. Navy, Robert focused on getting an education from The University of Texas. Upon completion in 1957, he moved to New York to work with Carrier Air Conditioning Co. When confronted with the idea of starting his own business, Robert moved his family to San Antonio in 1964, and Comfort-Air Engineering was founded.  RobertF@comfort-air.com

Thomas A. Freund - VP-- Business Operations - Following in our family's tradition, Tom also graduated from The University of Texas in 1993 with a BA.  Growing up in the business, Tom now oversees all business operations for CAE.  Tom has been employed with Comfort-Air since 1993.  Tom@comfort-air.com

Scott A. Freund - VP- Replacement Sales - After graduating from UT in 1988, Scott hired on with H.E.B. Grocery Co. as a warehouse manager. After four successful years, Scott decided that Comfort-Air was where he wanted to be and  came to work in 1992.  He heads up our replacement sales division for residential and light commercial.  ScottF@comfort-air.com

Matthew A. Freund, P.E.- VP--Construction Sales - With  a BSME at  Texas in 1985, Matt joined the EDS team out in Michigan.  Not  satisfied, he came back to Austin for his MSME in 1991. Upon completion, he went to work for Sulzer Carbomedics and spent 9 yrs with them. In April of 2000, Comfort-Air looked to Matt to develop their engineering department and supervise construction sales.  MattF@comfort-air.com

Patrick M. Freund - VP-- Business Development - Also graduating from Texas in 1990 with a BBA in marketing, Pat moved to Houston to work with Frito-Lay, Inc.  Wanting more of a marketing role, he moved on to C2Media for the next 5 yrs.  In April of 2000, Pat decided to move back to San Antonio and head up the service, marketing and business development for CAE.  PatF@comfort-air.com
