The Benefits of Residential Cooling & Heating Maintenance Plans
HVAC maintenance isn’t just something you do once and then forget about. It’s an ongoing process of keeping your HVAC system in good condition. Regular preventative maintenance can help ensure you don’t face major problems later on. Plus, HVAC maintenance can help you save money by fixing minor issues before they become large ones, reducing costs over time.
Improved Air Quality
The AC system that cools your home also moves dust, pollen, dander, pet hair, and other allergens through your house. These can build up in your air ducts and walls, wreaking havoc on air quality. You can cut down on these contaminants by investing in regular cooling maintenance — at least once a year or before changing air filters — and have it cleaned. You’ll be breathing easier in no time.
Lower Utility Bills
Regular AC maintenance can help you keep your utility bills down. Be sure to clean or replace air filters regularly, not only in air conditioners but also in furnaces and water heaters, which often are neglected by homeowners.
A dirty filter will clog your system, reducing its ability to work efficiently. Over time, it can even force you to pay more for energy. Filters should be replaced annually or every three months, depending on whether you have pets and the size of your unit.
Less Chance of a Breakdown
Both ACs and furnaces are complex machines, meaning they can malfunction at any moment. The best way to minimize breakdowns is to schedule professional maintenance visits. A heating or cooling technician will inspect your system, then perform routine maintenance to help extend its service life.
In some cases, a simple cleaning might be all you need, but if something more serious is going on with your system, a technician can tell right away. Regular servicing will help ensure your air conditioner or furnace lasts as long as possible.
Improved Indoor Comfort
Regularly maintaining your cooling and heating systems has many benefits, one of which is improved indoor comfort. Keeping your HVAC system working properly will ensure you won’t have to deal with fluctuating temperatures in your home or office.
Regular maintenance will also help keep your system more efficient, saving you money on energy bills. Plus, the life span of an HVAC unit can be extended by as much as 25% when it gets regular service from a professional technician.
Extended Equipment Life
Every time your AC or furnace needs repairs, it costs money. If you take good care of your equipment and stay on top of maintenance tasks like replacing air filters, cleaning coils, cleaning condensate pans, etc., you can extend your system’s life span by years. Your warranty company and your wallet will appreciate all the maintenance.
Help the Environment
By choosing our maintenance plan, you’ll help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, which helps keep our environment healthier for humans and animals. Our comfort experts can help you select your plan based on your needs. These plans also include regular maintenance checks that help prolong your system’s life, thus saving you money over time.
You’ll find that these annual checkups are quick and painless; they keep your AC in tiptop shape while keeping carbon emissions down to a minimum.
A simple HVAC tune-up can prevent a world of problems, so it’s an investment that truly pays for itself in exceptional functionality.
The Benefits of Plumbing Maintenance
If you want to improve your plumbing system’s efficiency and lower your energy bills, start investing in regular plumbing maintenance. By having an experienced plumber service your system twice a year, you can rest assured that everything is running smoothly and efficiently, and you can avoid costly repairs down the road.
Save Money
When it comes to your plumbing, you could say: A penny saved is a penny earned. The average American family spends over $1,000 per year fixing leaks in their house. The best way to prevent plumbing problems is by performing simple maintenance on your pipes and equipment.
Save Energy
A major benefit of regular plumbing maintenance is that it saves energy. If you hire a professional to check your home plumbing, they’ll ensure it’s running at peak efficiency. They can help you identify repairs or upgrades that will save you money. You may even be able to get rebates from your local utility company for things like insulation.
You can also reduce your water usage, which will cut down on how much energy you use. For example, try replacing old showerheads with new high-efficiency models, fixing leaks around faucets and toilets, and installing aerators on sinks. The more efficiently you use water, the less heat it takes to warm up — which means lower energy bills.
Prevent Damage
Preventing damage is cheaper than fixing damage — the easiest way is to make sure a professional plumber regularly maintains any appliances in your home. A plumber can spot problems before they become major issues and help you avoid costly repairs down the line.
For example, if you have an older toilet with a flapper valve that’s worn out, it may not be leaking yet, but when it starts to leak (and it will), you’ll want to catch it early and replace it before water damage occurs. Your water heater also needs periodic maintenance, as well as your washing machine and dryer.
Improve Comfort
Most people ignore their plumbing until it becomes a problem. That’s a big mistake! Your plumbing system is an essential part of your home, delivering water for cooking, cleaning, and bathing. If you have issues with your plumbing, it can be disruptive and unpleasant. If you want to improve comfort in your life, consider getting annual plumbing maintenance.
